PRICING

Our puppies start at $1500.00 and go up from there depending on registration (limited or full), gender, and conformation.

WAITLIST

We have a ‘no deposit’ waitlist. That means that you can fill out the puppy application and, once screened and approved, I will add you to the waitlist in the order that the application was received. When puppies are four weeks old, I will contact families in the order that they were added to the waitlist. Families will be given 48 hours to decide if any available puppies are of interest and make a non-refundable $400.00 deposit. If a member of the waitlist is not interested in a particular litter but would like to be considered for a future litter, they will maintain their position on the waitlist and I will simply move on to the next family in line. I will continue to contact the members of the waitlist with information about new litters until the perfect puppy for their family has been matched.

DEPOSIT

The $400.00 non-refundable deposit will be applied toward the price of the puppy. This deposit helps to ensure that the puppy is indeed spoken for and will have a home to go to when it is 8 weeks old. Payment MUST be made through Good Dog or with a personal check or money order. Many online payment platforms do not allow their service to be used for the purchase of animals. If mailing a check, I do encourage using a tracking number through the post office.

PAYMENT

Final payment is due at the time of puppy pickup, around 8 weeks of age. Payment can be made in cash when you get your puppy or in advance if paying through Good Dog. Check payments must be received at least two weeks prior to the date of pick up. Checks will not be accepted at the time of pickup.

All dogs in Discovery Dachs’ breeding program have full AKC registration. Most puppies will be sold with limited registration, meaning they are pet only and should not be used for breeding. Full AKC registration is available and dependent upon each individual situation.

We know how exciting it is to be an expectant puppy family. Once you have selected and secured your puppy with a deposit, we will keep you updated on the growth of your puppy with weekly pictures and videos. You will be invited to join our private Facebook page to enjoy weekly posts from our puppy nursery. Unfortunately, we do not allow visits prior to pickup at 8 weeks of age. Young puppies are vulnerable to disease and parasites, and the health and well-being of our dogs and our puppies is our number one priority.

Discovery Dachs’ puppies are bred and reared with love. Great care is taken to ensure each puppy is healthy.

All puppies come with a two-year health guarantee against any genetic health defects.
